Tracing of wagons

Note: track and trace service is offered for domestic, export, import and transit consignments within MÁV's network. Assignments can be ad hoc or permanent.

Ad hoc assignment:

  • Delegation of assignment (on submission/log-in via fax ,e-mail, consignment note entry) and MÁV Cargo's acceptance of assignment.
  • Compilation of freight plan (based on freight traffic schedule)
  • Contribution to following of the plan
  • Operational measures
  • Maintaining regular contact (within MÁV Cargo, MÁV Infrastructure as well as MÁV Traction)
  • Obligation to provide information

Permanent assignment

- One-time assignment
